Return to a southern karting tradition at one of the country's oldest dedicated karting facilities featuring
karting's newest heated/ air conditioned clubhouse with bathrooms, showers and a large meeting room overlooking
the historic Lamar County Raceway. After a 21 years of absense, the WKA Gold Cup National Series will be returning
to Barnesville on April 27th-29th, 2012. We expect well over 100 entries at the 2012 Vintage event and like in
past years, over 28 states represented. Historic downtown Barnesville offers several nice specialty shops, historic
homes, restaurants, and a nice bed & breakfast Inn called "The Rumble Seat Inn". There will be limited reserved
pit spaces available (see entry form) although about 25% of the concrete pit will be designated free pit area.
There will be plenty of controlled practice time each day of the event for those who just want to ride and bring
your old parts & karts and setup a swap shop in your pit area. Come join us for a great time!
