As most of you know I inherited the Race Director position on the race #2 weekend. I have avoided this position for the last 4 years because I do not like confrontation. With that being said I REFUSE to argue with anybody. I will call the shots like I see them but please keep in mind that I can not see the whole track from the flag stand and I rely heavily on our corner workers to call shots. I (we) WILL make mistakes. I will let all of you know that it is not my way or the highway. If anyone has a problem with a call that is made please keep a cool head and come talk to me or any board member.

I have been karting for 23 years now. I have raced dirt and asphalt ovals as well as sprint and enduro road courses. I have always been a racer and I have never been in the race director position so please bear with me while I learn the procedures. I promise that I will do my best to use my experience to make karting at Barnesville Safe, Fair, and most of all FUN! See you at the track!!!

Mike,
You'll do a GREAT job! Your attitude and approach are exactly what we need.

Thanks for doing this.

Very Happy I have known Mike probably for most of his 23 years of karting, and can honestly say, Mike will make a difference on race day.

Awesome Mike! Well said. For all the racers, if you don't know Mike, you should. He is the most down to earth guy you'll meet, loves karting and people. He is a very funny too!! Oh, and he likes to camp Friday night at the track and have a few toasts with fellow karters and friends.
