It looks like the AMP Registration is live now on MotorsportsReg:

Dunno.. They are supposedly using the GSKA rules (or something close to it) for 4 Cycle. Not sure what the weights were last year under TS.. Perhaps they just stuck with those?

Hmm it's working here (up to the point of paying). The 4 Cycle rules weren't up earlier, but they are there now. At least the kid classes look like standard GSKA numbers. Didn't look at any others.

We made some minor adjustments to the TAG weights based off the performance numbers from last season. We will likely continue to adjust them towards the WKA numbers as the season progresses.

Registration is open and the links updated with the current class structure for both 2 stroke and 4 stroke. We hope to see everyone at AMP and I personally look forward to running with you all on your home track one day soon.

Justin,
There are too many factors. You can't just compare race results. Driver's ability and chassis setup impact the performance way too much. Not sure how you can justify a 30lb weight reduction for a PRD. Have you really tested back to back a PRD to a Rotax, X30 or Leopard with the same chassis, tires, and a capable driver that can turn consistent laps?

Who even raced a PRD last year other than a couple of races?

There was one PRD, but he was way over official weight.
I remember 335lb PRD weight last year and think it was a mistake on TS Racing part, which survived the whole year. We were even considering PRD in Tag Sr class since Michael was up to age to participate in last October Tag Sr class.

The only back-to back engine comparison was done on October 5-6 in Tag Jr. Chassis as is (Rotax off, X30 on, at 320lb), same tires, were new for Rotax and 30 minutes used on X30.
Rotax : 51.89, X30 : 51.04
(I have to say Vega is doing great. We did few sessions in Ocala and CMP on same set of tires and this morning in AMP with 52.0 best time with Rotax on green track).

Few people got faster moving from Rotax to X30 about the same 1s, but there was a factor of getting better and/or chassis setup.

It was just brought to my attention that our website has some out of date information.
The classifications can be found here
2 Stroke racing-is.better-than.tv/race/2%20Cycle%20Class%20Structure.pdf
4 Stroke racing-is.better-than.tv/race/4%20Cycle%20Class%20Structure.pdf
Sorry about any confusion

I will also keep looking further into the 2 stroke weights. We will likely be making an adjustment once we can sit down and review everything. Thank you everyone for pointing this out, we want this series to be fun and competitive for everyone and we hope to continue growing this series with the help of all Georgia Karters.
