As many of you know from the drivers meeting, GSKA and TS Racing are working together to race at AMP (Atlanta Motorsports Park).

The idea is to have a winter series Dec, Jan and Feb. The first race is planned for Dec 14th. Hopefully the weather will be good enough to race.

The important part on this, is we can use our rules and tires for all Yamaha classes. For TAG, they may require you to use the Vega tire.

As the current Sr. 2 Cycle Director, I would like to encourage everyone, especially the 2 cycle drivers to make every effort to come race on December 14th.

This is a fun track with the elevation changes. With the improved runoff on a couple of corners, I now feel the track is safe to race on.

Hopefully all the Yamaha drivers will come up.

It will depend on the track layout we run but possibly a 11/77 or 78 for pipe.

We hope to be able to run layout A, but their is also a new layout that TS does not have on their site yet, which is much improved over layout B.

The improved layout which I'll call Layout C, adds more turns over B. If you look at the elevation track map, they have added a loop approximately across from the words Track Layout on the track map.

Here is what the new layout (Layout C) would look like.

Track direction is counter clockwise

If nothing comes up, my brother Carson and I are in as well. Him in Clone Jr 1 and myself in Yamaha Junior.

My daughter's birthday is the 14th, so we won't be there Sad We definitely want to go, but it won't happen that week. If the series continues, put us down for future races for sure!

you guys are going to love the track. A is awesome, and C/ B extended should be great too.

And the lawyers recently even added huge-normous runoffs. Very Happy

I am looking forward to this. Have run the car track twice now. Cant wait for karts. Will put on my long undies and run!

ANYONE know what ratio we need to run for clones? I will have many full sets of gears to try and loan.

AMP also offers camping at $15-25 a day wih 20 amp electric. There are bathrooms on site.

gonna be fun!

John, you have really stepped up and promoted the Yamaha class. Maybe I will even try a few laps to see if I can handle them. c

What does GSKA (as a club) get from this? This just looks like a winter series you are promoting for TS Racing and AMP.
