Last night was a great ending to a great first half of the season....

The racing is outstanding, but the camaraderie is exceptional!

From the racers, to their families, to the track officials.....

.and the willingness to step in and help when needed..

As the title states......

I AM PROUD TO BE A GSKA KARTER!

Have a Fun, safe summer, and get ready to meet back up in August for the second half of our best season ever...! Dr. Cheap.

Ditto! I was up waaay past my bedtime but we had a blast. Daniel loved getting to run under the lights and I'm very thankful I put lights in the trailer a few weeks back. Looking forward to the second half Smile

I had some troubles last night with my kart and ultimately was unable to race, but I still had a great time. Everyone went out of their way to help me get out there. It is a great group of people. A guy came up to me at the gas station afterwards and asked if I raced last night. He was thinking of coming to race and had raced some in the past elsewhere, but was wondering what the group was like before he jumped in. I must say I honestly could say that it was a great bunch of people and a great place to race. I have been around for a while. Not as long as some, but long enough to have seen the track have some highs and lows. I want everyone who works hard to make this a better place to race know that your efforts are appreciated, and you have all done a great job bringing Barnesville back to being a "a great place to race". I look forward to getting my stuff back together and the second half of the year.

There is definitely something special about the Barnesville night race! Another great event and all involved in the planning, preparations and race day coordination did a great job! I wish I had more time for racing these days, because I always leave Barnesville wanting more.

On another note, if anybody has pictures from the race that they would like to share, I think I speak for many that would like to see them.

Keep up the great work guys!

Kevin

Great place for the family to come out and support their racers. One long/great day/night, I loved it, turned in my best effort to date. If the night air is what it takes, they can all be in the dark. I can hardly wait a whole year for another one.
