| ok I read that there is no tech on 5" tires in the clone sr and sportsman class. can different tires be run back and front or must they be the same tire? |

It is my understanding, they must be the same compound and size. Size meaning both fronts must be the same size, like 450's. Rears must be the same size, like 710's. In addition you can not run a 5" and a 6", they must be all 5" or all 6".

Quoted directly from our GSKA rules for Clone and Sportsman:
Tires: 5" open compound or 6" Firestone YKD (No diameter mixing permitted)
Wheels: max 6.5" front and 8.75" rear

BB12-go to the top of this page and click on "classes"" and all the rules are listed there. We at GSKA try to do everything possible to make our racing fair to all. I believe publishing rules like we do is a good start.

Yes I agree with you Dr. Chip I was just making sure before I bought new tires. When I ask this I had some conflicting answers, but all is good and ready to race now . And I do thank everyone that's help so far with my questions .  |
