I will be buying a Yamaha to race next year, and would like to see several others in the class. Who all plans on racing Yamaha next year?

There's no "I could be if the stars line up right and the moon is in the right position" option. I'd have selected that, but I guess I short-sightedly chose "yes" instead.

Joshua,
You should add Maybe. I know of several people talking about it, but have not started racing yet. I know of 4-5 that have interest. Some have chassis' some have motors. _________________ John

I have Arrow XE 28s for sale which would be perfect for this class. If anyone wants to try one out I can bring down to B'ville for a day.

Cameron will be 15 and if he keeps his Yamaha, he'll race in the sr class with us, so that will be one more. Plus my friend sold his KT100 kart and the new owner said he'll be racing as well. My neighbor's friend bought Allen Maxwell's KT kart too, and will be coming out to race. So there's 3 more that have potentially not been registered on your voting machine...
Hey John W, if you are reading this, can we get a ruling on the seat question. Some say the clone-style "reclining" seats are not legal for supercan class vs. the upright Tillett style that most of us have already.
Thanks

Brian,
Our Yamaha class rules allow 4 cycle bodywork:
http://www.georgiasprintkarting.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2444
YAMAHA SUPERCAN:
DRIVER REQ: Age 15 and older.
ENGINE: Yamaha, Only heads with OEM casting "Yamaha" and cylinders with Y3 or Y4 and 787 are legal
FUEL: Gasoline & Oil
MINIMUM WEIGHT: 360 lbs.
EXHAUST: RLV SSX-V #7548 (See Section 554.3 and Figure. 554.3)
SPEC TIRE: Bridgestone YKC or YLC – 10 x 4.50 - 5 front, 11x7.10 - 5 rear.
OTHER: NO AXLE CLUTCHES
Bodywork: CIK style per WKA section 208 – 4 cycle style per WKA section 258
The intent was to get 4 cycle guys to try the 2 cycle classes to increase class size. Clearly if 4 cycle bodywork is allowed, a typical 4 cycle seat would be as well. In fact, the "laydown" seat rule was not put in place in Man Cup until mid-season.. you can call it the "Gary Lawson Rule".

ok thanks. so since that rule did not really help grow the class, will gska be using the Tillett style seat for neat year? The only clone-style I saw was Steve Roberts during the last last race.
