|
|
There are several ways from Dry cleaning, spray and wash, wash, etc, but after 15 years of karting and cleaning suits, I have found 2 great ways. First is buying the Molecule Spray, which does a great job, but fairly expensive.
The most recent and most successful was:
1. Spray the big dark spots with Shout.
2. Take a 5 gallon water jug like a sports team uses for water and drinks. Put approximately 2 gallons of water in the jug with a scoop or 1 cup of Oxy Clean. Stir in the Oxy Clean.
3. Put Suit in the bucket and press down and pull up, then back down into the solution. I do this approximately 10 times. Let it soak in the solution for a good 4 hours.
4. Put in the washer and 2 rinse cycles.
5. Remove and hang dry.
I will say that this did a fantastic job without any fading or bleeding of the red and white suit. This was on an AlpineStars kart suit. _________________ John
