Based on information provided to WKA, the use of the Stinger Clone clutch was approved just prior to the Gold Cup event at Jacksonville. However, after a visual examination of the clutch, it was found to have a billet drum, and therefore it does not meet the Tech Manual specifications. Effective immediately, the Stinger clutch for the Clone engines is not approved for use in the Pure Stock and Box Stock classes.


Stinger Clutches WILL be legal at club races as per an earlier vote by the BoD
