Wow, They sure our proud of their radiators! I would continue using tape or make my own flap. _________________ John

i'm pretty sure the new radiator is worth at least a tenth. maybe more. Cody (at OGP) told me since nick (neri) got one that his driver (hornberg) had to have one, and since alex got one, we didn't want to loose that tenth ... peer pressure ... _________________ 711 Angus Hunt's dad

but it does look cool and temp can be adjusted during race.
btw, speaking of temp, i sure did learn alot about tuning during the FWT. i was far, far off (and wrong) concerning rotax engine temps. _________________ 711 Angus Hunt's dad

I don't know much about Rotax engine temps, but on a TAG, optimal temp is between 125 and 130 degrees. Above 130, you start losing power. _________________ John

what i learned is that the optimal temp on a rotax changes depending on how you are choosing to jet.
we had this guy named Marco tuning on Angus all 3 rounds. he's italian and from the tonykart factory, and i learned a ton from him! and angus got so much better at giving back info. i also learned from marco how to ask the right questions to angus. it was fun before, but it's getting even more fun. _________________ 711 Angus Hunt's dad

really ritchie i heard yours(radiator) was damaged in turn 1 after taking the green flag and having an altercation with the tag jr points leader on the second restart of the final on sat and that's why you have a new one now?
i wasn't there, but i can call cody and find out.

brian, u must be angus' number 1 fan! ur as in tune with angus' racing as anyone. i should send u a t-shirt
but, as usual, ur info (gossip) is wrong again
just like how we don't have to put down $$$ deposits to drive SB cars, our old radiator is just fine. a racer from the 3rd row (angus started outside row 1) did run up on the back of angus in the restart sending him temporarily off, but he got right back at it and made 10 plus passes to finish P6.
we had a great time and the FKCS puts on a great race.
brian, do u guys actually race or do you just comment (gossip) on it? _________________ 711 Angus Hunt's dad
