If you are considering racing at GSKA events but the cost of spec tires is an obstacle, please drop me a PM. I'll be happy to make some calls and round up a decent set of used spec tires to get you on the track.
Also, if anyone has used spec tires that they would like to make available to folks in this situation, please PM me and let me know what you have. We'll try to put those parties together and get them on the track!
After the first weekend of racing on the new spec tires I feel it was the right move. The lap times, in the junior classes especially, really tightened up, and we've found the DDM tire to be very durable and consistent.
