I say race it as is. Fred Flintstone didn't need a floor pan. Added foot power might even give you a advantage.

it was very bright.  not big on the axle but all in all looked pretty good. |

Couldn't you have brought it to the pit area and we all could have seen the chassis. Looked for it in the pit area and had no idea you were there.
