Mini/Micro: Connor won first heat after rest 4 minis got together (he was leading at that time). Only Angus restarted to finish 2nd. Jesse and Michael to replace axle. Taylor lost his radiator. Ross finished in front of Connor in Micro (not sure about it).
In second heat all four started in reverse order from first heat: Angus, Jesse, Michael, Connor. For few laps order didn't change, then Michael passed Jesse and next lap or so J lost his chain. Michael showed best time so far 38.33.

In senior Palmer first and second. Matt third and first, Brad second and third.

In Masters Jim Hanson won 2 heats.

Features:
Mini. Starting order - Angus, Connor, Michael, Jesse (DNS something with engine), Taylor (fixed radiator). Connor took first place, Angus passed him 3 laps earlier than Michael. Taylor mechanical black flag (lost sidepod). No position changes.

Micro. Ross and Connor.

Senior. Palmer and Matt were switching first place with Jamie third and 4 other karts nose to tail. Brad Bacon lost chain in first turn. On lap before the white Matt was side by side with Palmer, they touched, Matt went slightly off and dropped chain. Jamie second, Sean O'Connell third.

Masters. Jim started first and never looked back. Matt lost second spot to Alan and spend few laps passing him. For 7-8 lap distance between first and second was not changing, then leaders stopped trying. Kevin was on Alans neck the whole race, never made the pass.

I'm sure everybody will come back and say their wow.

Actually, Kevin drafted Alan and made the pass on the last lap to claim third. Great racing!

Man..I love that track!!

I would also like to say again how much I appreciate everybody's help getting my kart on the track this weekend. From loaner parts to courier services to setup tips...I owe several people a frosty beverage for the help. We have a great group of guys!

Congrats to the little guys too..they put on a great show that was exciting to watch.

Congrat's to all. Sounds like the racing was pretty typical at Jacksonville. Drafting and a lot of passing.

For those that really liked Jacksonville, Monticello is great too, but very technical.

Just realized I posted my thanks to everybody above while logged in as Patrick...it would probably help to have my coffee before getting on a computer.

man how fun was that! Jim looked good all day, Matt ran well all day. Jax's has always been a blast to run. But as one fat old man i am sore as h- today. The Mini's put on a great show. That class is going to make all the kids fast.
