I had no idea what the kart weighed and picked Masters due to the age requirement. I went out today and picked up 4 bathroom scales so I'd have the weight about right for this weekend.
Kart weighs 172lbs, I weigh 168 for a total of 340lbs... Rotax Masters is 405... I'm going to have to add 65lbs to make weight~! My whole seat will be covered with lead!
Normal?

Hey Wes, is 168 with gear? If not, that'll probably add 10-11 pounds. Also, keep in mind that a half-full tank weighs around 10 pounds. Still, 50 pounds is a lot of lead. I'll have about 30 on my seat--and my kart handles better. Much better. The new problem is adjusting your braking points. Sad
