After 1000 laps at Barnsville and about 10 laps at RA, I'm finally going to try a new track!

I got the hall pass from the wife....A ticket from Delta....some space on Dale's trailer and I'm counting down the days!

Look forward to seeing some of my GSKA buddies way down south.

Any advice or sugestions would be welcome!!

Jim,
Going from a small local track to a National like FWT at an aggressive track like Homestead is quite a jump. We recommend that a driver run a few other club races at multiple tracks for the first 2 years, then go on to regionals for a couple more years before ever going to a National. Sounds like you are already committed to going so, good luck and be safe, wear a chest and rib protector and you may want to consider a Leatt brace.

Thanks Guys!

Yes Jeff..Emily has her license and is looking forward to driving my truck to B'ville as often as possible.

Thanks Chuck...You made some valid points. I have been racing for 45 years (mostly 2 wheels) and am looking forward to the FWT experience. I'm hoping to finish and not finish dead last.

Thanks Dale .... a country boy can survive!

Gary...hope all is well with you and hoping to you this year at B'ville.

Leave the chainsaw home, but bring the hacksaw just in case you have a bent axle.
