I want to thank Jim for helping us get to the track and I am so glad we were able to repay the favor with some chassis and engine tuning help. I think it was a good trade for both... I rarely meet people as nice and willing to try to help as Jim is. I will let Jim tell you about his weekend but all I know is got faster throughout the weekend and enjoyed the experience.

Thanks for the extended ride to the track on Sunday Cool . We needed the extra time to wake up.. Laughing

Thanks,
Brent

It was also exciting following online on Sunday! I'm sure it was much better in person, but the online coverage is getting very good...including video now for those who haven't checked it out.

Congrats on a strong showing!!

Kevin

What a Blast !! I never dreamed that there were karting events of that magnitude. I'm exhausted as I just got home. Flights were packed Mon (holiday) and I barely got out of there yeasterday.

I was slow and could not get my kart to stop sliding. I got caught up in two big wrecks and bought lots of parts for my kart.

Brent and Matt were fast and professional....great driving by both of you!

Jesse...glad you walked away from that one.

Ross is learning and picking up speed.

I met some great racers over the weekend. Oswaldo Negri Jr, Raphael Matos (Indy lights champion 2008). Cool to meet and talk to them.

Thanks to Dale, Carl, Donna, Matt, Brent, Don (carb guru), Scott (super nice guy who won the Masters class) and anyone else I may have forgotten.

Thanks also to those who commented on the forum. I was an event I will never forget !!

Jim, Congratulations on the weekend. The way I see it, you were the sacrificial lamb to show the rest of us "local only racers" that it's possible to run elsewhere. I am planning on running at least one of the FWT races next year, thanks to your guidance. I hope the soreness wears off before March 7th. I can't wait to hear about it.

Yes it is Rick!!
That's why we have always been open about sharing our setups, lap times, etc. with others. If they don't know what to do or how fast to go then it's not near as much fun racing against them. I really hope more guys like Jim get back into karting.
