I want to put together a kart show/advertising thing.

This is what it could be like.

I want it to be like a get together for karters and also a kart intro for people that have never heard of karting.

I want to have some people from GSKA, Dirt Track Racers, Enduro Racers, etc.

I want to have the karts outside so people can look at the karts. I want all the info and speeches inside.

This could be a hugh thing for Kart Racing.

If you are interested in doing this please post on here and PM me your email Address.

Thanks and I hope this can work.
PS- Please don't think that this won't work.

So you don't have money for a different body work and you want to put together a kart show?
Get real, Joshua, focus on things you can do and do them right.

If you just have ideas, you basically have nothing. Search wikipedia.org for business case or business plan.

With all due respect, I must disagree with you Ihor. Ideas are EVERYTHING and I applaud Josh for having the...um...guts...to post his out here for everyone to read and comment on (even taking a chance on getting shot down pretty hard). As the club goes, from the limited exposure I've had over the last 1/2 season, these are some of the best and brightest kids/young adults I've been around and I'll say that some of us grumpy older guys and gals would do well to entertain their ideas to see what valuable nuggets we can pull out.

At this point, I'm reading about a potential street race proposed by adults who are having the same issues with having $$$ to back them up - doesn't make them bad ideas though...What's the difference between that and a well-intentioned young man with an idea (who may be struggling to get some additional body work for his kart)?

Josh, our office property has a fundraiser car show once or twice a year...next time one comes up, let's take our karts out (and anyone else interested) and show our enthusiasm for the sport we love to see if we can't introduce someone new to the sport. Whether it's Karting or anything else, don't let anyone talk you out of starting on your ideas...just start small if you have to!

I am only 15 right now and I try to find any work I can do.

Most 15 year olds just sit around the house all day.

Thanks Stephen for the post; that brought me back up after what Ihor said.

First of all, you asked for opinions, I gave you one. And if you disagree - behave. I will not edit your message, I will find other way out...

This is one of the race days. Print brochures and go door to door if you want.

Ask them to come to a race day. You will not get better chance to have GSKA people and place to present and show people what exactly these karts for.

Now I'm the bad guy because I said to take off your pink glasses. The best thing you can do is keep studying. You getting overexcited and have too much time typing messages on a forum at any time of the day.

Here, before I'll be marked as a bad guy, a few words and suggestion.
You are not only 15, you already 15 (here I can add what people do at 15 ...).
If you want to help club and yourself, observe the race day, write an article about it and with few pictures I bet you can easily find either karting, auto or general magazine or newspaper where you can post your article. You can have your website then or I can give you login to news section to post your race reports. Who knows, maybe you will become a writer or it will help you if you'll go to study journalism.

We have one , actually two of what I think is one of our best opportunities right here in Barnesville. Buggy Days is held here every year (for as long as I can remember) in September. Big parade, I've heard it draws over 100,000 people and now Barneville- BBQ and Blues in April. Blues festival is growing , the chamber here thinks it might turn out to be bigger than Buggy Days.
