For those of you coming, we now have Talladega reserved for race dates on the following dates:
Saturday April 11
Saturday August 30
Much like the last few events we've run there that worked out well, these will be single day events but we will run both raceday events and practce sessions on that day. That should enable everyone a little better flexibility with travel as well as offer normal tracktime from the standard 2 day program. In addition, as usual Big South is also in conjunction with the WKA nationals at Kershaw and Road Atlanta.

Comments here are welcome! If you're definately coming, verifying that would, as always, be appreciated. Hope to see everyone there!

Im completely in the dark about these events. Is this a street race? Will there be a TAG class. What has the turnout been in the past? Thanks

Here is the track in a shifter. It's more difficult to get a really fast lap than it looks...

I ran this track several time on road race motorcycles and it is a great track, just rebuilt and repaved a couple years. Silo control tower, paved pits (pitts used to be the main straight away)

The track is 90 miles fro downtown Atlanta, just south of Anniston, AL.

Q: Who can we contact for more info? What classes will be running? I would love to run this track on a kart. One of my favorite tracks in the SE. cb

I would start with Jeff Standridge at the top of this page.
I noticed Robby Harper III signature also.
