Just thinking...
1st, I know at the speeds we are going I am not going to see aerodynamic downforce.
That said, it seems like a panel that "connects" the floor pan and goes to the back of the kart, raising at the proper angle behind the seat would create less drag, prevent seat wear, and might generate a bit of a low pressure area... my question is: would it be legal? |

It's legal for WKA Gold Cup & Manufacturer's cup as long as you stay inside the perimeter of the frame.
IMHO at barnesville you will lose more by having your seat mounted that high than you will gain from having it on there.

It has tried many times before by many top level race teams.. Most don't bother with it. I used to run one on my RR shifter... I won the Grand Nationals and many other Nationals after taking it off??? I don't think it made any difference because karts are so dirty Aero wise it's a wash.. _________________ CMC ROTAX/SWISS HUTLESS
