Come on Rick, Do you really think I would not recommend a product because it only happened to my motors? No it was not my engine builder and you know my engine builder who is one of the best in the country.
To answer your question directly - YES it was happening to a lot of other racers engines. NO not everyones. Again, this is why this oil is no longer used. _________________ John

Well, then if it was not seizing EVERYONE'S engines then maybe it was not the fault of the product. The reason the oil was no longer used was money not performance. I understand how products (such as fuel, oils, tires anything spec'd) gets on the list, and it is money. I was racing and can still remember when we had those crappy Burris M-15's shoved on us, I can remember when we had to run Sunoco 115 in a yamaha jr sportsman, we had to endure this not because the product was good, it was because they paid WKA to spec it. You like the Burris blend, and that is fine, but, there is nothing wrong with the Maxima, which I do not sell or promote. I will bet there are a lot of motorcyclest out there that love the stuff. |

Rick,
You win because I am not going to waste my typing or breath anymore on this topic. I just happened to forget that you go to all these national races where they had these engine failures. _________________ John

My brother is an Amsoil dealer and I have been using the Interceptor for nearly 2 years now. In my kart, and a motocross racer that I sponsor. It has worked wonderfully. Here is a link to my brother Dan's website. Tell him I sent you and he may give you a racers discount. http://www.dantheoilman.com/ _________________ Mr. Sideways |

I never said I was at those national races, but, I have been to a FEW over the years. This is not about winning or losing, a question was asked and then answered, you gave your view, and I gave mine, isn't this what it is about?

We always ran a mixture of Quicker State 40 weight and WD-40.
We called it Quick 80
