Castor. In 2 cycle's we run Burris Castor and Burris Blend. The Rotax guys are required by their rules to run Motul. Motul is a good product, but I believe Castor is the best lubricant for a 2 cycle. The downside to Castor is the buildup of carbon on the piston and can cause the rings to stick. This is why most guys running 2 cycle's run 4 oz of Burris Castor and 4 oz of Burris Blend for every gallon of gas. _________________ John

I would not buy the Maxima 927. There were several times that we were required to run this oil at Nationals. I can tell you that it is not of the same quality as Burris Castor.
If you order Burris Castor from TS Racing today, you will have it by Friday with UPS Ground. http://www.tsracing.com/store/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Product_ID=5116&CATID=7 _________________ John

Jeff,
I know that this is what they claim and we have been told this at the nationals, but I can tell you that this is BS. The engine builders will support this and this is why the Maxima is rarely used at any nationals, even when you have a choice. _________________ John
