|
|
There are quite a few folks that I have spoken to at the track who are not sure what class they want to run in 2009. I thought I would start this thread so that people could get an idea of who will be running what classes. Please either respond to the thread or PM me and I will update the tally. If you are just considering running the class (pending more participants) let me know that too, and I will add a * to indicate that. If there is a class you want to run that is not listed, just let me know what it is you would like to run.
This data should also be useful to the board as 2009 classes & rules are planned.

I will be racing Clone Medium
My neighbor and his son want to race. His son is 13. I would imagine he will either race 4 Cycle Clone or Yamaha Can. Dad will probably race Clone. _________________ John

DT I noticed you suggested WKA Briggs Animal Super Stock . Have you thought about letting a modified Clone run in that class also? Might spark an interest having 2 different types of engines. Clones would have to have a billet flywheel and connecting rod. Run an Animal carb and different cam and springs.Does Super Stock allow head porting? Just my 2 cents worth.
I'll stay with the Stock Medium Gas Clone class myself.
New part of post:
I loaded @ 47 lbs of lead on the kart yesterday and will see if I can race
Clone Heavy along with Frank, Dr Chip, Thomas, Jeff and any other big guys who show up. If I can make it work I'll leave the regulars to battle it out in Clone Medium.
