Jeff has since given me two DVDs. The first is a compilation of all the helmet cam videos: practice sessions, qualifying, and both races The second is comprised of all the video from the other cameras he brought: he made a long "highlight" video (I know what you are thinking, and the irony is not lost on me), complete with dubbed-in music, fade-in and fade-outs, slow-motion, close-ups, and several other editing techniques. He put in a great deal of time.

I tell you: if you would like for him to do any sort of promotional video for the club, the quality of it would reflect very well on our organization.

Louie, it was great to have you back at the races. And my wife was very proud of me for FINALLY making an on-track pass for position. I know you missed your braking point going into T1, but it still counts as a pass! Laughing

She was so happy I didn't have the heart to tell her that I finished two laps down because of two accidents.

You are still second in points, over all. Consisitency is key. ...and this is your first season. Do not be too hard on yourself. Attitude is important.
You are a coach: follow the same advice you give your team! cb

Thanks, Chip. I'm tied for third, actually, and with tie-breakers in place I'm really fourth.

And Danke in fifth is closing fast.

Daniel,
Any chance we could buy copies of the DVDs? I would love to see the long versions.

Kevin

great vid! how do you keep that cool white driving suit so clean? my son has a black one and it still looks filthy all the time.

You could also try an old racers trick, Aqua Net hair spray. The hair spray has the same chemicals as what dry cleaners use, it lifts dirt and grease off the fabric so that when you wash the ugly grease and grime go down the drain. Aqua Net hair spray is readily available anywhere and MUCH, much cheaper than the molecule stuff.

Also, great video. I like the camera angles and "real life" aspect of the clip.
BTW, we did a video for a local track some years ago, The producer kind of rushed me during the kart explanation part:
