I imagine the answer varies, but what does everyone think? I have a 2005 Sodi. My motor is a Rotax. The frame rails are 32mm. When I bought it last year, it had approximately 12 races on it. I've put another 10 race weekends on it, plus three practice days.

I've heard some chassis wears out quicker than others.

How long can I expect my chassis to last without losing too much rigidity and tune-ability?

Daniel,
There is no set rule, but when your kart stops responding to chassis changes, it is a good time to get a new chassis. Keep in mind that when you race locally, it many times does not matter because you can still win on a very old chassis.

At a national level the front runners will replace their chassis at mid season or at the end of the season.
