Shane,
Many different vriables than what we have seen so far with 20+ karts out there at once. Should be interesting and a whole lot of fun |

Now you guys are just picking on an old fat man
The question is not how I am going to reach the pedals as much as how high the French bros. knees are going to be.
For Amax20 we will be on a MAVERICK of course. The one I built for Billy Wallace. |

Rick I hadn't thought about the fat part. Now you are really going to have problems reaching the pedal. Remember your stomach has to clear the steering wheel.
This really sucks. Here I am giving Rick hard time and I can't be there. I sure hope this race is a success so I can do it next time. _________________ John

We haven't had time to mess with the front brake system, yet. Since this is supposed to be the low budget kart class, we are working on a pivoting piece of wood to use for brakes. (A single wooden hand brake is acceptable, right?) _________________ CRG, Rotax #08 |

Hmm...knees in my chest...sounds like a normal day of racing to me. So how much Motul do we use in the gas for these things anyway? _________________ Rotax Masters

rick can verify but i believe it is about +2 ounce per gallon over what you are already running. It will smoke a little but that is what you want. the main difference will be that it wont stop smoking. should not effect lap times. If it slows down a little just move the seat. |

Alan is close but maybe try 3 oz, this seems to work well and yes it will smoke a little but like Alan said this is normal and has the added plus of making it hard to pass you.
If you move the seat, Fat Rick will not be able to reach the pedals, so I think the better answer is to hold one leg up in the air. Probably the right, but try both and see what is faster. I think this is what Michael was talking about when he was discussing "toe" out. |

| That would be a new and improved adjustment called toe up. A secret adjustment that only works on the Maverick! |
