Are we going to need rear bodywork for the clone next year? _________________ "Porkchop Racing"

| You should already have a bumper on your kart. As far as a WKA mandated bumper for next year which I've been told is bigger not for now. The Clones are not listed in WKA. John W. and I discussed it recently and for now It won't be mandatory but if you want to put one on if you can even find one for your kart it is acceptable. After the election of new board members and president all of this could change. |

I hope the board does not mandate the full width bumpers if the Clone drivers do not want them. _________________ John

Weather it is mandatory or not I have used one for years.
I love the looped bumpers and it makes you allot safer.
Rick custom made mine for only $60.
Well worth it. _________________ Rippin Racing

I'm so confused.
Why would you need that? _________________ Rippin Racing

| Correct me but that is required on Tags and Rotax but not sure. It is @$125 or more and is not suitable for our Clones. After last weekend I would like to put a rear bumber like Gatormoto karts have but mine would have to be special built due to my narrow frame rail spacing. Most of us use a small loop but it leaves the rear tires exposed and sometimes we climb them in close quarters. |

TS Racing is selling wide loops by WKA standards. I bought one for my road racing last year and didn't use it. You can mount it on your small rear bumper with couple of clamps.
I can bring mine to the track next race if anybody want to try it. |
