If you have to ask how much it cost it is out of your reach.Looks like it will be an elite group of people using this facility if it ever gets built. I doubt that the Clones from the other side of the tracks would be welcomed.

These kind of complexes are maybe ok in areas with no other facilities, or facilities far away. ANd they are for the rich...

Our area has no need ofr such a compex: we have SO many places: Barnesville, Road Atlanta, Talllegega GP, BArber Robling, Carolina Motor Park.

For the cost of membership to one of these complexes, someone can racece for years at these other locations.

The intrest alone on what it costs to get into thsese groups would pay for a lot of racing.

And one must beware: the up front investors money is used to fund the start up in hopes that others will join: if not, project fails. IMHO.

Does anyone have an idea as to how much it would cost to race at AMP? Just practice?

If I remember correctly the base membership was around a grand, can't remember what benefits this would entitle you to.
The best thing to do would be contact Jeremy Porter for any correct info.
Key word here being "correct"

Dan - Here's the scoop on the karting membership (see guest kart fees):

Course use past 5:30 PM, some week days, not the same schedule as the full size cars - kart course use once the kart course is built.

$2,000 initiation fee due upon signing
$50 monthly dues, inflationary increase
$10 daily use fee for driving course, inflationary increase
50% discount on additional family members
Guest kart fee is $75 (each guest is only allowed two times per year)
All monies escrowed at SunTrust Bank until $3M raised
