this time it would feel more like a make up but it would be something that you could do and bring out some fans... my labor days are usually just sitting around the house (id rather be watching racing though)

It's too late to call a race for Labor Day. Too many people have already made plans for the holiday. It would not be fair to those competing for points. Makes more sense to add it on to the end of the season.

Holiday weekends don't really work too well for a points race. Too many people use the long weekends to get out of town.
