One less in ROTAX won't be missed at all
Question? Is the license required for every race or just the qualifiers ? |
No way Gary, every Rotax racer is important and any one not there will be/is missed. You are one of the founding fathers of the class, as I have said before it is great having you come down from the mountains and race with us, we just need to figure out how to make it possible.
To answer your question, a license is not required to run any GSKA event only the qualifers, and another e-mail has been sent to Marshall regarding such. |

Brandon,
It was great to see you so much faster. I know Matt helped alot, but give yourself some credit too. You were driving so much better. Especially in braking
Oh, and nice pass on Chris on the start. I know he was not expecting it. Now shoot for the new track record that was set on Saturday. _________________ John

Chris just walks in and sets a track record Shows what seat time can do for you.......a lot of good practice is important. |

Great to be back with you guys; I wish I wouldn't have missed so much time! I'm pretty sure I'll be at BTK if I can get some of the parts fixed from when my dad was driving the kart (broken seat, bent steering wheel and possibly column, and brake pedal). I might try to go to BTK on Saturday and hit up Barber for the grand am race on Sunday. Anyone have a tentative schedule for the BTK weekend? Practice on friday?
PS: I-75 blows. I got there 45 minutes late due to traffic. I need to get to a friggin race on time for once. _________________ '02 Birel R32x/Rotax |

Mark, I know that at least 2 or 3 of us will be there on Friday afternoon to start practicing, but I am not sure how early as of yet. We will know more when the weekend gets closer. _________________ CRG, Rotax #08 |

| We'll be there Friday for practice as well. I think we're going to have a bunch of Georgia folks there. I think it's going to be a big race. |

| Gary sorry to hear about all of your problems. If it is any consolation the weekend before I pulled the drag car down to Reynolds Georgia Silver Dollar Raceway 2 1/2 hours one way. Car was great driver forgot how to drive the stripe. Went out 1st round, not good. Then putting the car on the trailer one of my loading ramps slide out from under the front tire. Broke off a marker light on the trailer and manged to bend the lower part of the fender on the car. But wait there was more fun in store on the way home. Between Barnesville and Griffin I put on a fire works display on Hwy 41 around 11PM when the right rear trailer tire exploded. Still 1 1/2 hours from home I changed tires and merrily drove home hoping for no more excitement for the night. Sometimes I wonder why we go racing then I remember it is for the fun of it! Forgot the best part it took $109 worth of gas round trip. |
