for those who want to move up but still stay on a budget?
rather than loosing racers who may get bored with the 6.5.
Same rules: box stock
crank shaft end would have to be turned down to 3/4.
Saw this on some other forum and thought it to be interesting.
Any forseen problems with the idea? cb _________________ "kart racing since 1958, was and still the best bank for the buck in motorsports" |

Yep, we have limited time in the day to add classes. If they want to go faster, they have Animal class, Yamaha Pipe, Tag or Rotax.
From personal experience in the clone, I do not think you will get bored racing. Most people get out of karting before then anyways when they find out they can not compete, need to cut back expenses or just lose interest. _________________ John

| As John mentioned but also engine is gigantic and most 6.5 parts and accessories don't cross over. Boat anchor in my opinion. |

Think of it as a "BIG BLOCK". _________________ Mr. Sideways |

I'll be puttin' in my time tomorow, then out of town for the next race.
Hope to have it all together by 10/4 for some practice time, to be ready for the next race weekend, including the enduro!. c _________________ "kart racing since 1958, was and still the best bank for the buck in motorsports" |
