Who would've thought after leading a horse to water (4 yrs.) he'd finally take a drink?
I don't think it would hurt to miss a race If the wedding becomes a sprint race I'll try to drop by and take some photo's
Has anyone spoken with Drodey? |

Yep,
Spoke to Donn, but not about pictures. He too bought a clone motor. He might be racing too. _________________ John

| I am just wondering why we are limiting the enduro to 20 karts , as it looks now we are going to have more than 20 entries , if so how do we tell the people that are not on the pre registration list that they cannot race? |

| i thought the reason we limited it to 20 was to have room for every kart on the oval pit road. |

| Steve 20 was a number thrown out but if we have more than that I think we will try to accomodate them unless a safety concern arises. For now several entries don't have a kart or motor so those pre registered are not actual entries but Clone Wanabes. If you look at old WinterNational pictures they had many more than that. It just makes qualifying a little more important with a large field.I'll have to check with Jeff and see what he would suggest. Really won't know till race day and see who actually shows up. |

Thanks Michael , I don't have to look at the old pics I raced almost all winter olympics in the 70's and looking back I don't think I have ever been in a race there with less than 40 karts on the track at once. Granted there wasn't a lot of passing , but , there was always someone to race with and I don't remember a lot of safety issues except after the race in the weigh in line where it is very unsafe if you happen to have bumped someone
I have a suggestion that may be relivant that may come in handy, when we had a enduro race back home we had a 4 wheeler with a flat trailer to get the broken karts back to the pits, this may be an issue to be addressed if a kart breaks down and is being pushed along the track back to the pits. this could be a bigger safety issue than pit stops. We had a separate flag to warn drivers there was a recovery vehicle on the track and you had to reasonabley slow down and no passing until the track was clear
steve
BTW I ordered my clone from RKS yesterday so I am defanitly a confirmed entry. |
