Lifan Motors the maker of the Blue Clone for Harbor Freight imported by Central Machinery and probably others also makes cars and motorcycles. Thought this was a nice example of Cloning. May not be a true Mini but the 4 door version is different.

Since gas prices have gone up have you noticed how most of your car commercials tout there gas mileage as better than the next guy? As the market demands they will produce higher gas mileage SUV's and Trucks but it is hard to get a large vehicle moving without cubic inches. Newer trucks get twice the mileage of my 89 GMC dually 9MPG compared to 18 MPG for the newer ones. I have the extinct 454 Turbo 400 model were as the new ones use smaller engines and over drive trans with lockup converters. It will only happen when they see a profit. Until then pay at the pump or give up and go smaller. My truck was bought new for a certain purpose to pull my drag car and trailer. I use it to carry my kart also but for the most part it sits in the driveway waiting for race day. Yesterday it cost me $49 (at the new low price $3.43 HA Ha ) in gas to come to Barnesville to watch it rain. Between entry fee, gas and food an easy $100. Still if I have it I'll come rather than sit at home bored.
