we now know exactly where we're headed! as soon as angus gets big enough to drive one of those - we're there! we met alot of nice people who gave us a ton of useful info. we watched sean rahal drive, and he did an awesome job in the race we got to see. he started on pole, dropped back to 5th in first lap, got quickly back up to 2nd, got in a battle passing back and forth for 2nd and 3rd, sean played in smart and ducked in behind 2nd place because the leader started to gap them. 1st - 3rd grouped back up. sean made another great pass to finish in 2nd. very good race. earlier in the race, sean made a very impressive pass coming down the hill in the back. he also dropped a tire, and made a very good save. some guy next to me remarked how good of car control he had. i told him that kid was like 13 years old, and he couldn't believe it. needless to say, i've got to start saving more $$$ to pay for angus to run those cars. _________________ 711 Angus Hunt's dad

Skip Barber is a great series! Many great karters moved into Skip Barber as their next level and some have made it to other levels.
Several years ago, Chris was selected as one of the sweet 16 karters to compete in the Skip Barber Scholarship race. This is a 3 day event where they pick the 4 top drivers out of approx. 70 drivers (anyone can enter) to compete for a fully paid National series, half paid National series, full paid Regional series and a half paid Regional series. Chris won the half regional scholarship that Skip Barber awarded. Chris has raced both regionally and nationally in Skip Barber and is now an Instructor at Road Atlanta. _________________ John

i looked for him while i was out there hoping he might be there, but no luck. angus is so excited and looking forward to racing those. as soon as we get this minimax chassis tuned right, i'm going to get back up with chris as now angus needs to learn all new driving skills. _________________ 711 Angus Hunt's dad

Chris is at the Stars of Karting race in Shawano, WI, the home of the RMAX Grand Nationals this year. Otherwise I am sure he would have been up there.
Also glad to hear Sean is continuing a great job. _________________ John
