There is a possibility of a track being built at the Tenn./Ga. Line one mile off of 75 N.
It would be on the same property as the local dirt track for stock cars and the new owners of it has dumped a ton of money refurbishing it. They have shown interest in building a kart track.
The question is how many of you guys would be interested in having another track to race at ? If I could show him some possible numbers that would show up from an already established club it may help to get this to be a reality.

The place is the old Boyds speedway. There was a dirt track there years ago. Have race there for years. Exit 1 in TN go right past Ships RV turn right track on right. The stock car track is in TN and GA. Gokart track was small but fun to race. We ran Friday night because the gokart track was beside the pit area for big track. Not been for several years not sure if there is enough space for a ashphalt track. Will try to go take a look.

Yes the location is at the old Boyds speedway which under the new owners, the place has had a major facelift. They love racing and are thinking of building an asphalt kart track.... at least a .7 tenths mile and 30 ft. wide as I've heard. Of course all this may just be a bunch of talk at this point. Hope not !
I'll keep everyone posted and hope to meet with these guys soon
