In honor of our Groom "Flip" Davis. Wild Bill was quite active in his son Flip's karting career starting at our own Lamar County Speedway. He taught many of Flip's life lessons through karting. I want to honor that legacy with a day of rememberance on Stacy and Flips special day.

I started racing there when I was maybe 10 and the FIRST TRIP THERE and FIRST LAP EVER on the track in a kart I FLIP in turn 1 wide open and at that moment forward was a long very memorable racing up growing from total lost to running every class at a WKA national on only 2 karts.

"I would like to first say thank you for everything you are doing for Stacey and I this has taken so much off our shoulders and made us so very happy and a dream come true. I'm sure you have heard my father is no longer with us he was so very dedicated to Lamar speedway and we spend so much time there racing practicing every weekend it was open, I've had hard time with him being gone he was my best friend and mentor and having the wedding theire puts me the closest dad could ever be for the wedding. I am very thankful for this it's truly a blessing."

"A busy kid karting is a strong wheeled kid that learns discipline respect responsibility and sportsmanship"

I remember Wild Bill well. He was such a great guy. Spent a lot of time with him and Sean racing around the southeast. Bill is the guy in the middle holding the trophy. Sean is on the far left and I'm in the picture on the far right with a beard.
