wow! that's pretty heavy for SR TAG. we are getting back in with Angus on an X30. to come and run b'ville, i think we'd have to add like 85 pounds.

any chance for a light class at 365?

There is not a light class for TAG Sr but if we get enough entries, I would be open to putting the weight back at WKA TAG Sr. Weights.

I weigh 183 with gear, and when I raced Rotax I still had to add lead to make 365.

Where did you get TAG weights, John?

The chaos outside of rotax is enormous. Just comparing Rotax and X30

TAGUSA:
TAG Sr: Rotax - 370, X30 - 370
TAG Jr: Rotax -320, X30 (28mm) - 330

GoPro Motorplex:
TAG Sr: Rotax - 375, X30 - 365
TAG Jr: Rotax - 330, X30 - 320 (skusa? skusa allows only Leopard)

FKCS 2013:
TAG Sr: Rotax - 365, X30 - 365
TAG Jr: Rotax - 320, X30 (31mm) - 320

Florida Winter Tour:
TAG Sr: Rotax - 370, X30 - 360
TAG Jr: Rotax - 325, X30 - 315

AMP (last year):
TAG Sr: Rotax - 365, X30 - 365
TAG Jr: Rotax - 320, X30 (31mm) - 320

For ref. rotax rules Sr - 365, Jr - 320

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At AMP with last year classes specification X30 was way ahead of Rotax (up to 1 second faster).
Looking at TAGUSA, there is a penalty of 10lb and 3mm in junior header for X30.

Ihor,
These weights were set several years ago based on WKA Masters. The idea was to have a single class.

I would like to know who plans to race TAG Sr. vs TAG Masters and what motor. Rotax, PRD, Leopard or X30 at GSKA.

John, At a weight we could handle (like 365), angus would come down some for TAG SR with an X30.
At current weights, I don't think we would. Just too much to add.

John,

I was planning on running TAG Masters, with a Rotax (old one). I can run Sr. instead of Masters if I had to.

Matt does not run tag and I am not the 2 cycle director but I will put in my 2 cents. Matt runs Yamaha sr. at 360 lbs. he is 170 lbs and I add 35 lbs.We would not run tag at Barnesville at the present weights posted.I believe at the posted weights you are not encouraging tag entries. you might consider WKA Man Cup weights.Last year the entries in tag were very sad. You might consider a change.
