Not unless they need a new engine for their riding lawn mower.....it is a vertical shaft engine.

Early West Bend kart engines were vertical shaft. They came off of the McCulloch Lawn mower that fell apart. Early Clinton and Power Products Homelite and Mac think (chain saw) could be used also as long as they had a Diaphram Carb on them. 2stroke doesnt know what upside down is!

I have produced a number of items for customers using aluminum sand casting. I make the mold and send it off. It is easier and cheaper than it sounds. Would look real cool too! Figure $150 to $200

Michael-REAR only supports rear engined american powered karts. They only run one event a year and for demo only,,no racing.

The best two full coverage sites are Vintage Karting and the Vintage Karting Association-VKA-web sites. Both are strong supporters of the annual Barnesville bintage Kart event.

Wish you would come back to us in 2014.. c

Dr. C only reason I gave Rear was for the motor mount. I assumed he had a rear engine Fox Kart.
