Wrapping up by 2pm. Focus is on vintage karts but we will have some modern karts there to compare to. Everyone who can show up. We are going to do interviews and stage some races. We are going to feature Georgia built karts including Hamilton Brothers ( we're located on Piedmont road for years)' and Putt-Niks out of Washington, GA.

I would like,to see Haley Kummer, Connor Wilson, Dicky Wilson, Steve Ronerts, Connor Tebbe, Dylan Murray, Ed White and son Courtland, Hunter Johnson, and anyone else who,can make it. I don't mean to leave, anyone out!

Bob Barthelemy, will be there as Barnesville vintage kart event coordinator and long time karter, Ruben Tarca with his beautiful, restored Hamilton Bros kart, and John "putt Nik Dude" McCorvey with his restored Hamiltons and Putt Niks. i will have some vintage karts you can get laps in and be filmed and maybe interviewed.

We will be asking how you got into karting, what you like about it etc

Please contact me with any questions. c

I was thinking of bringing the family down this day so we can meet everyone and check out the track. My one question is if there is a fee to just spectate. Sons birthday is the 15th so figured it be a cool thing for him to see since he loves race cars.

9/14 is a non race day. Just the filming.

Come on down. Bleechesrs are always free.

But also come down on a race day. Again, bleechers free, $9 for a pit pass to cover insurance.

I have a loaner kart you can borrow to get some laps on.

Next regular race is 9/7/2013 and the next after that is 9/21. Check the "schedule" tab at the top and it will give you the schedule for the rest of the year.

Come on down and join the fun. Racers from 5 to 75 years young! c

UPDATE-film crew are arriving at my garage tomorrow. They have given me a list of questions including Qs about the Barnesville track, the GSKA and vintage vs modern karts. Final filming at the track 9/14. c

Dr. Chip,
It looks like I will be down Saturday after all.
I talked to my company (two other guys) and my wife, and everyone is on board with us spending the morning in Barnesville.
Good things to follow.... Very Happy

Whoo hoo-bring your vintage karts-running or not, especially hour Margay Pro-X. That is what we are most interested in! The more the better for photo ops..c

WOW! Vintage racers from as far away as Chatanooga and Greenville, SC, and a good mix of modern karters.

Had both Atlanta TV AND Barnesville newspaper there.

Thanks all! C
