I'll be there as usual! Glad to see some more guys coming out, lets get a good group and maybe have 20 people in the TAG field!! That would be awesome.

Once my yamaha package is together I'd love to run some races at AMP, but because of conflictions I'd only be able to make one or two, and I don't want to get a set of VEGA Greens that I'd barely get my money's worth from.

If there is any way for the Yamahas we could allow the Bridgestone YLCs at AMP, that'd be great.

Xander, if you only plan to run a few then you really wouldn't care about points, right? If so just come and run on whatever you want then! You'll end up getting officially DQ'd but that's just for points anyway Very Happy

We need to get the official word from TS or Jim Fry on whether they will allow the YLC's. I don't think any of us care at this point if its for points but I'm with Xander, I am not going to buy another brand of tires to run one or twice especially when there is only one other Yamaha driver listed in the previous race.

Jim should be able to give the final word but you should just be DQ'd. In the first race I recall someone running on the 'wrong' tires and they were simply DQ'd. I don't see any reason you couldn't run, just wouldn't officially place. But I could be wrong, would be crazy if they simply wouldn't let you run on the track without the Vegas Shocked

I know for a fact guys have run in the practice sessions before the race on tires other than Vegas.

I'd love to be able to run tires that other tracks run as well.

Yeah, it's really unfortunate the way things are here in the southeast. Barnesville and Jacksonville have Bridgestones, Mooresville has Hoosiers, Twin Fountains is open, AMP has vegas, and I forget what Carolina Motorsports Park has.

It's mildly the same in the northeast from what I've heard, but they have a NY/NJ Series that is a regional deal.

Here is my video from the heat race. Started 14th due to a wreck in the pre-race. Started the pre-race last because they didn't pick up any times from my transponder

Great turnout, 17 in the field, and overall another fun day.

Michael showed up and seemed to have had a blast in TAG Jr as well. Started from the back because he didn't have 'propper' tires but then he borrowed some fore both races, I think he took 1'st too!!! Good job Michael!

Cameron was there as well, good to see the TAG Jr guys showing up. Once they move up to TAG Sr. it's gonna be a blast! I think they had 4 or 5 in TAG Jr.
