Need to know if you are using an 11 or 12 tooth gear. It also matters if you are running regular TAG weight or TAG Heavy.

For Rotax @ 405, I think fast guys ran as low as 11/80 (Brent Harper) up to 11/85 (me), though I've been as low as an 82..

I have been always from 12/84 to 12/86, never on 11t.

Let me take it back, I did use 11t but I hated it.

You will have to find your gearing. For example, Rotax Junior, same lap time - 23.0 with 13/75 and 12/79

I thinking I will be running the 405 class. Haven't put kart up on scales yet but should be close to that .

11/80-81 or 12/87-88.

The 12T driver makes the rear sprocket really vulnerable to coming off if you slip the right rear tire off in turn 1. If you have an 11T driver, run it.
