Where are you guys going to try on helmets? It seems there are a ton of bike shops around here and very few shops that carry car/kart helmets.

Getting frustrated making selections on helmets but not being able to locate a place to try them on for fitment Embarassed

Are you guys ordering without trying any on and just returning them if they don't fit as you'd like them to?

Get Snell M20XX helmet from motorcycle shop.
The closest kart shop where you can try S helmet is MMX

Roberts Kart Shop has the Vega kart helmets in stock. I bought Connor one of the Vega youth Snell CMR rated helmets as a stop-gap until our Impact one was done, and it turns out he likes the Vega better than the Impact. Price is very good on the Vega helmets, well under $200.

Got our Vega from Amazon. Using their sizing chart, it said we needed a large, which I was skeptical of, and of course we needed an XL. Amazon took it back and paid for shipping (we have prime) and I ordered the XL from them. Roberts has the Vegas too if you want to try them in person.

I'm pretty sure Discovery Parts moved their shop to AMP, if you are up that way.

Yup I'll be there Sat. Race and try on some of their stuff. The one I really wanted to give a shot they don't stock though.. ..

Since I'm up there all the time they'll prob just order it for me, then worry about sending it back if the fitment is wrong. That way I don't have to deal with shipping.

I just bought my Snell SA2010 from them 2 weeks ago. Been dealing with them for years. Has the shop right there at the track with a good assortment of helmets to,try on,,starting at $249. Dr Cheap went up to a Bell for $289, including free helmet bag, just because I had Bells growing up and one of the early supporters of the Snell Foundation, named after a guy back in the day who died as a result of Helmet failure.

Got my last helmet mail order, , a medium. Thought it was fine. Tried on a medium and way too big. Tried a small and perfect.

Found one good brand SA2010 for $169 shipped, no sales tax, but I made the leap and bought local fro, the vendor I trust and took time to,fit me properly.

Tell them Dr. chip, sent you, maybe you won't be thrown out of the shop... Evil or Very Mad
