You guys seriously need to do something about the wind Maybe an indoor track with a retractable roof? See if Barnesville will raise taxes to pay for it? Works for the Falcons, anyhow...
Other than the weather, which I don't suppose you can do much to fix, I can't comment since this was our first race and I'm not sure what's "normal" or could be improved. We had a blast, and everyone was super helpful getting us through our first race day! |

I will buy the "old" GA dome for us!
Wait til you experience summer racing. The cover over the grid is not for protection from wind!
I did some "arena racing" when I was younger. Exhaust smoke is a problem

| On the yamaha side.... I think we should put the jrs with the sportsman, last year there was nothing seperating the class but weight and skill. These balanced out and it was ok to race with those classes together. Now how ever with the pipe we will be much faster. Plus with 2 classes of 2 why not put them together and make a better race? The sr class will be packed all year and in my opinion the track is too small for a group larger than 10. |

1) Clear communication--preferably during the drivers' meeting--about qualifying groups.
2) Kids announcing when they are not racing--last year I rather enjoyed that.
3) There was some push back on allowing us to do 2 warm-up laps around the entire track, but I don't see the difference between that and 6-8 laps around the oval.
Overall, I really enjoy the track and the club. I'm very grateful for what we have, and for all the hard work that goes into running the race meetings. _________________ Tonykart EVRR / Adkins Yamaha |

Daniel-I believe our kid announcers were not there this week. I want to use them for the vintage event
All items noted. Thanks. c _________________ "kart racing since 1958, was and still the best bank for the buck in motorsports" |

Yeah, my apologies for not making it there, guys. It was a hit or miss on the weather of rain tires and such, and my family was already having to head to Daytona for some free tickets we got courtesy of UNOH to hit the Battle at the Beach on Sunday, so I couldn't convince my dad to take me down for some Karting. I will be there for race 2 and so on, so forth; really bummed I missed a race event! _________________ Xander Clements, Driver of the #36 Razor Chassis Kart in Clone Junior 2
