Dr. Chip,
It looks like either racers are waiting to see what everyone is going to do or are not planning on racing in the first race. I for one decieded to wait and see. After working this Saturday at the track and hearing what the people there were thinking I am still waiting. Now I see that the board is thinking of changing the rules back in sportsman so I guess I will still be waiting until what RACE DAY!!!!!!!!! Come on board do what you should have done in the first place, PUT IT TO A VOTE. I think that the people that are paying the taxes should be the ones that vote the rules. You say you did'nt change the rules of sportsman but what do you call putting in a 400lb rule running for the same points, Ill give you a hint, its called changing the rules... I have not heard very many people over 200 lbs wanting a class of their own but now they have one. I hope for the clubs sake that you come to an understanding before we get to far into racing for the year. Just make it simple and call for a vote and go with the numbers no matter what they are.
Just wanting to get back to racing

| Keep in mind Mike these guys are volunteers and doing the best they can. Without them putting in all the long hours of THEIR own personal time without any pay or THANKS, there would be no club or races for us. |

I am going to make an Executive decision here. The Board worked long and hard to come up with a set of rules, and we are going to stick with them. If we need to tweak the rules some, we will do it at the summer break.
