|
|
In an attempt to bring out new racers to the track, the GSKA has approved some new heavy weight classes. One twist to these rules is a MAXIMUM kart weight. This maximum weight will keep lighter drivers from adding large amounts of weight to their kart and spoiling the fun of us King Size racers. See below for details.
Yamaha Senior Heavy:
400 pounds for kart and driver, maximum kart weight of 200 pounds.
All other rules the same as Yamaha Senior.
TaG Heavy:
Cheetah SQ 125 – 390 lbs., Easykart IAME & BMB – 390 lbs., Morori Seven – 405 lbs, Parilla Leopard – 405 lbs., Parilla X-30 – 405 lbs., Rotax FR 125 – 405 lbs., Sonik TX 125 (125cc) – 425 lbs., Sonik VX 125 (118 cc) – 405 lbs.,, Vortex ROK TT – 425, PRD Fire Ball (2005 & 2008) 390 lbs.
Maximum kart weight 200 pounds
All other rules the same for TaG.
All classes would be run with their lighter class. _________________ Jeff Bacon

So let me get this straight:
For each class--Sr TAG and Sr Yamaha--drivers in both weight categories (regular and heavy) compete in the same race? _________________ Tonykart EVRR / Adkins Yamaha |

The heavy two strokes will be run as separate classes.

The heavies are a separate class, but will run in conjunction with the light class.
I firmly believe this will only help grow the 2 stroke classes. I myself did not run a full season because I new I was not competitive. Now, if I am still uncompetitive, I only have myself to blame. _________________ Jeff Bacon

With less than two days until the first race, there are no drivers registered for our new Yamaha heavy class. _________________ Tonykart EVRR / Adkins Yamaha |
