Cleaned jet, tried everything carb wise. At the extent of my knowledge.
What else could it be? Slipped timing, by flywheel key part sheared
Frustrated! c _________________ "kart racing since 1958, was and still the best bank for the buck in motorsports" |

| Check the fuel pump for any air leaks, if thats fine then try pulse line . If still no fix then check coil wire at the coil , make sure it's got a good connection . Hope this helps . |

Which fuel pump do you have? Is the carb getting full fuel or is their a lot of air in the line. It is either your pump or carb. I think it's your carb. I believe you haven't raced much recently. The fuel can clog the holes in the emulsion tube. Check and clean the holes in emulsion tube and the main jet. Also I would take the fuel float and needle out. And remove the small bowl where you have the fuel on/off lever. Clean with break clean all the holes in the carb. _________________ John

Lent the laner kart to someone and they could not get it started. They cleaned some things but not sure what all.
I tried starting it and having the same symptoms. HAve not had time to get tio it but will soon. c _________________ "kart racing since 1958, was and still the best bank for the buck in motorsports" |
