We were, well, I was, watching F1 qual and talking about the F1 race coming up this Nov in Austin. We have mentioned wanting to go before but never really commited. I told her this morning that I knew this would really be a trip for me and if she did not want to spend the money on such a one sided trip I would understand. Gotta say stuff like that for you younger guys looking to keep your prospect around!
Sorry, to the point. You know how the F1 broadcast shows the running order on the left hand side with only 3 letters per driver. I said, well you are going to have to know who you are waching in Nov. To my surprise she could name over half the field on the scoring tree.
Not gonna be such a one sided trip after all.

Impressive Jory. My wife totally indulges my open-wheel obsession, Then again, at this point I don't watch any other sport besides a little Alabama football.
Do you know which F1 driver gets the "privilege" of having his ENTIRE name spelled out on the left?

What's wrong Brian? You don't like hearing Matchett say "absolutely" 5,000,000 time each broadcast? Or Varsha saying "ek-STRAWD-neree" instead of "extraordinary" like the rest of us?
