I grew up in Centerville Ohio, attended many Carb. days time trials and races. Loved it all !
I would trade them all for Daniel's trip.....that was awsome ! Good for you. |

Daniel- Your wife set all this up?
two questions..
does she have a sister and can you introduce me to your peeps?
cool story!
I think for safety reasons the cars should have to maintain a speed more compared to the rest of the field. If you run out of gas you run out of gas... |

| Hey Doc. Indy has always been on my bucket list since I was a small child watching the tape delays on a black and white TV, until last year when Darrin invited Josh and Myself to make the trip with him and Conner, Indy is on my birthday, and this year it was the same day as my birthday May 30. All I can say is thanks to Darrin and Conner for letting us go for two years now and hope we can do it again. If anyone ever takes the trip make sure you have time to go over to IRP on Saturday night and catch the midget it's a great show. |

Wellwritten Daniel-you should have been an English Major!
Be sure to check out the museum.
Great story: cars in the old days had riding mechanics" these cars would still run 100 mph.
Cars come into the pits and the mechanic would jump off to get ready for the stop.
Problem is, after running at 100 mph for so long, seemed sso slow to the mechanic that they tried to get off while the car was traveling down pit road, still at 35 mph! c _________________ "kart racing since 1958, was and still the best bank for the buck in motorsports" |
