Camshaft Requirements: Stock as cast camshaft only. Maximum running lift of .245 checked at valve as run. Maximum lift of .227 at lifter. Cam profile as measured at lifter:

Is this correct for both the intake and exhaust?

WKA and AKRA have a .242 Intake AND .238 exhaust at the valve with Zero valve lash. There seems to be some confusion among the competitors and would be helpful if you reviewed your rules. The above is taken from revised 2010 GSKA rules.

As you can see there is a discrepancy between the various rules. The .227 at the lifter is the only part of the rule that agrees. As far as the profile I didn't check between them.

Michael, the .245 number came from our original measurement of the 3 readily available engines at the time (BSP, Lifan, HF). At that time there were a couple of engines that wouldn't make the .242 number out of the box. Due to our desire to allow all makes of engines both our cam profile and max lift numbers were set to accommodate what we saw when we did the tear downs. Our tolerances may be a little greater than the other organizations, but I feel confident that you can run just about any engine out of the box and not have it be wrong.
