As most of you probably know, on March 20th & 21st GSKA will be hosting the third annual Vintage Kart Winter Nationals in association with the Vintage Karting Association. Friday the 20th will be a practice day but we will need help early Friday and throught the day with registration, grid workers, pit stewards, and or flagmen. Saturday will begin with the kart show on the front straight, a short morning practice session and racing/ demonstrations throughout the afternoon. Help will be needed Saturday in the same areas as Friday plus scoring (yes we score the old fashioned way as the vintage group does not use transponders), but it is a great way to see the action from the scoring tower. Please respond if you are willing to work this event. With enough volunteers, we can split the time up and it not be too much for any of us!

we currently have close to 20 advanced entries and expect over 50 entries from all over the eastern United States.

Thanks,
Bob Barthelemy

I will be there with my vintage kart and will be happy to help out between runs.

I will be registering my kart, plus I have talked a group from OH into coming south with 4-6 karts,

I will be at the track very early both days. cb

Hello everyone,

Yes, thank you Bob for providing everyone with the details on this great event. If you have not experienced seeing, watching & hearing these classic vintage karts from the great early days of karting you will miss a great experience.

I know Bob and myself would love your help in some way. As Bob mentioned, if we split it up with enough people and we all contribute a little we can enjoy the racing and help at the same time.

Thanks!

I will have my vintage kart at the track for the March 7th opening race.

Hope it helps build interest and participation! c

Bob,

Ginny and I will be there, and maybe Dan and Brad. Let us know if you need anything done ahead of time.
