BRENT HARPER IS ON POLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew he could do it, but it is hard when you get a new chassis and on a new surface with very little to no testing.

Congratulations to Brent Harper and Matt Tilden. Brent finished in 3rd after starting 19th in his new Swiss Hutless and Matt finished 5th in his new Arrow X1.

Fantastic, especially when you consider 34 drivers.

Awesome race! Sorry to hear that Jim Stump had early trouble. Brent and Matt made up some serious ground! Also, sounded like Keith Karr had bad luck again after running strong early. At least he didn't end up in the fence this time.

This is too cool! I'm going soon!

The pre final was incredibly frustrating for the GSKA drivers, but a great race up front and by Holmboe.
Fantastic job by Brent & Matt in the final. Way to go!

This was a great weekend of racing. Sure, we didn't finish either final, but the high standards of the event were re-accomplished on and off the track.

Jesse and I are already making plans for Ocala.... Entry and hotel are finalized, now we just have to decide which makes more sense, rebuilding a liquified kart or replacing it with the latest and greatest '09 Birel C28.

It was great to see Stump back on the track again, and especially great to see Ross finally develop the confidence in himself to race with the big boys. Sunday was a banner day for Ross.

hotels... this is crazy. Few days ago I was about to book Howard Johnson for $52 + $82 + $82 while fwt website had reserved price $105. Today it is $115.
For the whole last year we were getting room price $35-$45 (for Saturday night). They simply increase prices knowing there will be a lot of people. I'm not paying their price

The kart event has little to do with the price increase in Ocala. There is a real racing event down the street that draws thousands of spectators that weekend. Something to do with nearly 300 mph in less than a quarter-mile....
